about

Coaching is never about me, the coach, but always about you.

Essentially, the "chemistry" just has to be right. You have to feel safe and secure. You must be able to trust me. You have to have a good feeling and also see that you can move forward with my support.
I also have to have confidence in your will to improve something and also have a good feeling about our work together.

Nevertheless it is understandable to want to have at least an outline of the Person who will potentially accompany you in finding your own path.

What then, would you like to know?

Here are the "basics":

Personal stuff

Born in Germany, I moved to an island in the English speaking Caribbean, which is where I grew up. I "emigrated" back to Germany many years ago as a young adult to study Economics at university. After stations in Rhineland, Lake Constance, the Black Forest and Breisgau, I came to Ulm for job reasons and found a place to settle and call home and started a family with my husband. Now some years later, we are a family of six plus our dog Cooper and boredom is not something we ever have to deal with!

Why am I a Coach?

I have a deep conviction that coaching facilitates life changing revelations - not to say true miracles. It's sometimes like being in a heavy fog and seeing it dissolve to finally really see; you see who you truly are, your infinite potential and where you're standing at this very moment; you see what your true goals are and what path can take you there.
This applies to Life Coaching, Learner Coaching as well as Professional Development Coaching.

What qualifies me to be your coach?

This deep conviction motivated me to complete my ICF accredited coach training as a Future® Coach and Future® Core Coach as well as my ICF accredited training as a Neurolanguage Coach® and Neuromindfulness® Coach.

In addition, I have completed various TEFL trainings and certifications (e.g. Business English and Teaching Young Learners)  as well as a qualification in adult education.

As lifelong learning is a matter of course for me, I regularly take part in further qualification trainings.

There you have it - a few "basics" of my overall portrait.
